Health and Hydration
One of the best things you can do for yourself and your
family's health is also one of the easiest — drink more water.
Most people don't realize how important this is. Drinking the
right amount of water will help you have more energy, control your
weight and perform better.
Water makes up 40 to 60% of an individual’s body mass and
covers over two-thirds of the world's surface. No doubt about it,
without it, we would perish!
Unfortunately, most of us do not realize how important
water is and consequently do not drink enough of it. Doctors tell
us we should drink between one-half and two-thirds of an ounce of
water daily for every pound of body weight. The more active you
are, the closer to the two-thirds of an ounce you need. For example,
a 150 pound person who exercises 20 minutes per day, should drink
approximately 80 ounces of water.
Kids need to keep hydrated too. The Pure Pouch is fun and easy
for kids. An active 50 pound child needs about a quart of water or
other fluids each day to stay hydrated.
